Our Approach
The hour starts with you. Not your portfolio. Not your statements. You.
What the next chapter of your life is supposed to feel like. What you are working to protect. The people who matter. The things on your mind that nobody has asked you about yet.
From there we work backward into the structure. The income picture. The accounts. The taxes. The decisions on your calendar over the next five, ten, twenty years. We ask the questions that pull the pieces together.
The methodology is the Advisors 360 Model. The same disciplined process for every family we serve. The plan that comes out of it is built around your story, your goals, and your constraints.
By the end of the hour, the goal is for you to see your situation more clearly than when you started. If we are the right firm to help build the plan, we will say so. If we are not, we will tell you that too.

The Four Areas We Coordinate

Your portfolio should serve the full plan, not just a benchmark. We look at what you own, what you need, and how all of it works together.

The transition from earning income to drawing income is the most consequential financial shift most families make. We plan it before it happens.

When you pull from accounts, in what order, and in which years matters across a long retirement horizon. We plan the tax picture before the decisions are made.

What you have built is supposed to go somewhere.
Protection, transfer, and the people who matter most.
The Comprehensive Review is how we figure out which of these is most urgent for your family right now.

The Process

The Four Areas tell you what we coordinate. These four steps tell you how the relationship unfolds, starting with the hour you are reading about right now.
The first hour is for listening. We want to understand your goals, your family, your concerns, and the decisions on your calendar. No pressure. No agenda. Just a real conversation that starts in the right place.
From what we learn, we build a plan specific to your situation, aligned to what you want the next chapter of your life to look like. Not a template. A strategy built around your story.
We coordinate and execute the plan. Every step is handled with precision and care so nothing falls through the gaps.
Life changes. Your strategy changes with it. We stay with you through every transition, reviewing and adjusting so the plan keeps serving the life you are building.

The Hour
Begin With
Not your portfolio. Not your statements. Your life. What you are working to protect. What the next chapter is supposed to feel like. The trip you keep putting off. The grandkids. The home you want to stay in.
Then Into
The accounts you have built. The income coming in and the income you need. The taxes. Social Security. Pension elections. The 401k that needs a real strategy, not a default option.
Toward
A clearer picture of where you are, where the gaps are, and what comes next. If we are the right firm, we will tell you. If we are not, we will say that too.

A Note From Mark
I started this firm because I wanted the conversation to begin in a different place.
I spent the first part of my career at Wall Street firms, banks, and independent brokerages. Those institutions have real strengths. They also have a model that makes personal attention difficult. At a certain scale, an advisor is carrying too many relationships, working inside a system built around products, and serving the institution first. I saw it from the inside. I did not want to build a practice that way.
Advisors 360 is a family-run firm. Joy, my wife and partner, has been here since the beginning. She runs the operations that make the firm work. Our son Ryan is the next generation already at the table. He is an MBA and a Navy veteran, and he brings a perspective to client work that I think is genuinely rare. We have a deep advisory team behind us who prepare for every conversation so the hour you spend with us is actually about you.
We are SEC-registered under Eastsound Capital Advisors, LLC. As a fiduciary, I am legally required to act in your best interest. Not in mine. That changes everything about how this conversation starts.
I have been in practice for twenty-five years. As seen on ABC, NBC, CBS, and Fox affiliate programs discussing retirement planning and fiduciary practice. I host a podcast called Beyond the Dollar Signs, where we talk about the real questions families face about money and the lives they want to build.
But the credential that matters most to me is the one that does not show up on a license. After a year of quarterly reviews together, most of our client meetings stop being about the accounts and start being about how the family is doing.
That is the kind of firm we are.

FAQ

We use the hour to understand where you are. The conversation starts with your life and works backward into the money. We ask the questions that help connect the pieces. By the end, you and the firm both have a clearer sense of whether there is a real path forward together.
No. The Comprehensive Review is at no cost to you. If we move forward together after that, our fee structure is transparent and we will walk you through it before any engagement begins.
No. The first conversation is about your life, your goals, and the general shape of what you have built. If we move into the analysis phase, we will give you a secure portal and a clear list of what to share. Nothing on the first call requires you to upload, scan, or print anything.
Most people we work with came to the first meeting still figuring out what questions to ask. The point of the hour is to help you get clearer, whether you work with us or not. There is no decision asked of you on the call.
If you want to move forward into a full plan, we will invite you to share documents through a secure portal so we can build a complete picture of where you are. From there, we meet again and walk through what we found, what we recommend, and what the plan looks like. If you decide the timing is not right, we are happy to stay in touch and check back in when it is.
